Statement of Purpose
Making Disciples:
to glorify God by fulfilling the Great
Commission of His Son Jesus Christ.
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has
been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go
therefore and making disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have
commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.” (Matt.
28:18-20)
Equipping Saints:
to glorify God by equipping the people of God
for their work of ministry.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some
evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for
the equipping of the saints for the work of
ministry, for the edifying of the body of
Christ, til we all come to the unity of the
faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature
of the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:11-13)
Maturing Christians:
to glorify God by promoting the personal growth in grace of Christians.
“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the
glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which
is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we
preach, warning every man and teaching every man
in all wisdom, that we may present every man
perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also
labor, striving according to His working which
works in me mightily” (Col. 1:27-29)
